We have served biotech innovators, like Vericel, to make innovative therapies more accessible to injured workers, and we have worked with agencies like AccuSure to help them successfully enter new markets.
Founder
Hale Johnston formed HALE STRATEGIC CONSULTING in 2014 to help organizations navigate and thrive in an increasingly competitive environment. By examining the entire ecosystem of a company’s stakeholders, objectives, customer needs, operational processes and culture, he uses his intimate knowledge of the field to deliver customized, synergistic solutions that empower all levels of an enterprise. During his 30+ year career in insurance, Hale has led every facet of the workers’ compensation insurance value chain. He has held various C-suite positions and P&L leadership positions in both public and private insurance companies. Hale has implemented new technology platforms, consolidated operations and introduced new streams of revenue that have transformed organizations with industry leading results: tripling customer count; doubling revenue and decreasing expenses.
Hale served on the Board of Governors for the Workers’ Compensation Rating Bureau (WCIRB), was chairman of the Board of Directors for the California Workers’ Compensation Institute (CWCI) and is a founding trustee of the Command and General Staff College Foundation, Inc. for the US Army in Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. He is a graduate of William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, and a graduate of the FBI Citizens’ Academy.
